I know, I've been slacking the last couple days. I have a good excuse though. I've had 2 babies ( toddlers really ) in the house and I've been swamped with work too !
I did manage to complete a new necklace today though :) I used cream colored seed beads and vintage buttons. I think it came out really nice :)

A bunch of crafting today :)
Today was spent primarily in the craft room...only emerging to eat and drink occasionally !
I got quite a few projects finished and a few more started and I'm quite pleased with the outcome of most of them.
First up is a pocketbook done for a swap. The bag measures 9" wide at the bottom, 12" wide at the top, and approx 11" deep. Fully lined with 3 small inner pockets and magnetic snap closure.

Then we have some really wonky "un-paper towels" these are great, I don't use nearly as many real paper towels now so it saves money. Just toss them in the washer and they're good as new.

Next up are two fabric headbands. I LOVE these things. I'm growing my hair out so it's a pain in the behind unless I want to wear it in a pony tail constantly, which I don't want to do. I'd never been a big headband person first because the ones you buy in the store never stay in place and secondly because they're usually pretty ugly too ! These have an elastic band that goes under your hair in back to keep them nicely in place and I can make them in any color or print I want. YAY ME ! These 2 are for a friend though, so they won't be added to my stash.

Last but not least is this cute little octopus necklace I did. Again, this is for a friend based on something she wisted that was similar. Made from shrinky dink and jewelry chain :)

Tree Of Life Pendant
Yesterday was a Murphy's Law kind of day in my sewing room. Nothing went right. I destroyed entirely too much fabric and ended up with little to show for it. So I put the sewing machine away and decided to do something different for the evening.
This is the end result....a Tree Of Life pendant made with amethyst chips.
