The finished Butterfly Bag

Here's the finished bag I was working on last night... I was so happy with the way this came out.

Bag has 3 inner pockets and closes with a magnetic snap. Handles are about 16" long to make it a nice length to carry over the shoulder. 10"x4" across the bottom, 10" deep, and 13" wide at the top.



It's all ready found a new home in NC and is on it's way there tonight :)

Love the bag fabric!My sister bday coming up and it would be perfect for her. Is it something my LQS could order or haveyou had it a while? Thanks for posting on craftster it was such an inspiration.

Honestly I bought that fabric in a box of assorted fabrics I have no idea how long I've had it. Not even sure of the name of it. I can try and find out for you though, see if the selvage says anything :)

I've looked and looked and it appears this was a custom fabric made at one time, but no longer available sorry :(

Laurakam - the selvage says "Fabric Innovations Screen Print D# 6227" if that might help you in any way :)
