Summer Flip Flop Dress

Spent this morning sewing with my DGD#3 ! She dug this fabric off my stash pile and insisted she get a dress from it...so off to the sewing table we went :)

Although it's 30something here today and they're calling for snow tonight ( UGGH ) She insisted on wearing this when it was done, so we tossed a t'shirt on underneath so it's not so "summery" today :)

It was really simple to do, the dress is made from a nice knit with flip flops all over it. I did a rolled hem on the top and bottom and then shirred about 7 rows around the bodice. A couple ties over the shoulders and we were good to go :)
